This observation that we need more vulnerability in tech writing is spot on. There’s this tendency to appear as some sort of guru and that only one specific flavor of silver bullets is what should blindly be followed. In reality every solution has its pros and cons and good engineers are people with developed intuition for picking the best option.
Also, one of the reasons people start their own startups is because they only read about successful startups because failed founders don’t write books about their failures. plane_with_red_dots.jpeg
Ha, that is very true! Hadn't thought of that before really. We have become so used to this overly filtered world where we see everyones wins and success' all of the time we are baited into decisions that seem destined to be successful (because why not me if its worked for everyone else).
