There have been many iterations of this publication. Sometimes it has been topic specific and I always struggle when it is. My interests span so many different topics that pinning my writing down is an unnecessary constraint. I also find that writing purely about dry technical topics doesn’t scratch an itch within me. Sure, it would be good for my career/personal growth, but fuck it is boring.
Cultivate is my creative outlet. I experiment with words and with ideas.
The one theme that I have noticed across my life, is that I love to focus on simplifying things. Maybe I am allergic to complexity, but I consistently seek out the simplest and most basic way of doing things - whether if that is in my technical career or general life.
Cultivate is therefore a collection of lessons about doing things a simpler way.
Because life is better when it is simple.
